LOL trying to avoid this , but what type of 1/16th scale kits are out there ? Mostly RC types ? I was wondering if there is some german armor without the RC that might be cheaper then some of the prices i have seen so far .
Have you looked a Scale hobbyists web site? They have a King Tiger at 1/16th with the Porsche turret. can’t tell if it’s motorized but it’s pretty expensive regardless. The only other 1/16th tanks listed on their site are T-34’s.

Just to add to the list, now there is a new player called; Heng Long.
They make 1/16 RC tanks. Not only they can move and do battle with each other like the Tamiya’s, but this one can shoot plastic bullet and produce smoke.
