Man!!! That is a beutiful Bird. Dont give up on it yet. I remember an issue of FSM telling you how to Vac form Your own canopies for prcticly zero dollars. you should look into it.

I have to agree as well, when ever you get frustated with something put it aside for a while to clear your mind of it. The bird looks real nice. now I now what to look out for when I build the two I have in my closet.
I will glady take your kit if you plan on junking it. I am so frustrated with this kit that I have been debating whether or not it is worth the space to store it. However, it would be nice to have a semi complete P-61 as it has sentimental value to me. If memory serves me right, it was one of the first kits that I assembled. The kit is so outdated and frustrating to work with, and I now think that I am begining to hate the actual plane because of it.

Yeah … you done the right thing to stash it. It looks real sweet and one day you’ll come back to it with a fresh eye and all the bad juju will be gone. Just think of it as a gift to yourself in the future. And the only thing you’ll have to do is the glass … piece of cake …
