I need some help with this simple snow diorama tutorial

  • Question one, what type of epoxy putty is he using so I can find it in stores?
  • What type of glue should be used to attach the grass onto the epoxy surface and what’s the glue application method?
  • Same glue question for the snow-what type of glue and what glue application method? I think some people have suggested loading thinned white glue into airbrush and spraying. I’m afraid to do that fearing it will clog the airbrush.

what I use is woddland scenics snow, they have a gun in a spray gun {hand pump type} you can spray it on or brush it on, then sprinkle their snow on the glue. additional layers with the spray on glue.

go to doogs tutorial for snow /forums/912201/ShowPost.aspx

it is the field kitchen, currently it is still on page one for me.

as for epoxy, what are you using it for?

Monsterzero, look at my snow tutorial—it’s a lot more in-depth than that one!

I’ve used Woodland Scenics glue through my airbrush, doesn’t clog. Just clean it real well as soon as you’re done. I used about 4 oz of warm water with some dish liquid, swabbed with pipe cleaner, then flushed out with alcohol. No problem.
