Welcome to the forums Chad. You’re now amongst some of the most generous folks in the model building hobby. I personnally do not have enough successful experience to be able to give you good advice on doing washes, but we have some folks here who will certainly give you some great pointers on doing washes. I’m sure they’ll be along very shortly, so hang loose, and once again welcome, and enjoy your time here on the forums. Semper Fi, mike

If using an acrylic, dilute with rubbinh alcohol. If using enamel, use paint thinner.

Add about 1 part paint to 10 parts thinner. What you want is colored thinner/alcohol, really. The color is your choice, depending on what you want to simulate. On yellow, it may be good to use a dark brown. Apply liberally over crevices, indentations, anywhere where the runy liquid can pool into. Let it dry, and the results will ook as if idrt and grime has seeped into these recesses of the vehicle. Do it again until you have the desired effect. Finally, drybrush the entire vehicle (putting very little paint on the end of a brush and quickly sweeping the brush over raised parts to make them stand out).

Hope this helps.
