what colors do u use to lighten or darken an olive drab?

and if i have a faded olive drab, what colors to lighten or darken that?

I use MM enamels here.

I’d probably use a sandy colour to lighten OD

You can use either sandy tones, such as Tamiya’s desert yellow, to give a dirty faded look, or a paler green to give a highlighted/faded look, something like IJN grey which has a green tone.

To darken I’d use either a dark green, or something like Tamiya’s NATO black which has a greeny tone to it.

Best bet is have a play and see what works for you.

White to lighten a color and I do’nt know why that you would want to darken a “MM” color they are made to military spec’s, therefore you should only need to lighten them for scale effect.
