I just got a deal and a half!

Today I went to my LHS and bought Eduard’s Profipac version of their 1/72 L-39 Albatros trainer, I bought the non Profipac one a few weeks back. Yes, I like the L-39[:D]

Anyway, I opened the box, saw the nice photoetched fret and nice crisp moldings and drop dead gorgeous and very comprehensive decal sheet. Then it hit me, the moldings should be the same as the ones that came in the non Profipac issue but there seemed so much more plastic in this box than the other one. As I started unloading things from the box, I realized that I had two complete sets of moldings, I could build two complete L-39s out of this box.

This is my first Profipac kit and I’m assuming this is not normal, but I can’t say for sure.

So now I sit with three complete L-39 kits, Profipack parts for one and two Czechmasters AM sets that I bought for my first non Profipac L-39. Man, If I bashed all this into one finished model, can you imagine how detailed it would be?[:p]

Anyone else get an full extra set of moldings in their last Profipac kit?[;)]

You lucky soul. When I got my 1/48 Early Tempest, it only came with one set of moldings. Count yourself as being lucky.

You got a windfall. Count your blessings & start the builds!

Regards, Rick
