I finally finished an AT AT!

Nice job. I got one of the older ones and I’m looking forward to build and paint it with some strange camo [:D]
How did you weathered it?

Forget it. I just read about it in the Star wars schemes topic.http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=37315

Thanks for the info.

Thanks guys.

Matt

[bow][bow][bow]That looks great. I’ve often thought about doing one of those in a camo scheme. Great job. What scale is that?

Very nice works Matt[:)][tup]

How is that kit to work with? I was considering getting one (my daughter REALLY wants one) but I hesitated when I saw the built example on the box cover. AMT should have hired YOU to build the model for the cover of their box, yours is tremendously better - great work.

Thanks again guys.

As to the scale, it looks like it is unknown. I did play with the overall dimensions and a cutaway in a book and figured it would be some where around 1:84th to 1:90th scale. That is however only a guess.

First thing about AMT don’t judge the kit by their box art. Its always been bad and RC2 has taken it even farther down the ladder. The kit overall has some fit problems but nothing that is difficult to fix. Looking at it compared to the studio model the detail is great. So don’t pass on this one, in fact I will probably pick up a couple more.
