Hunting Percival Pembroke C Mk 1

This is an odd post probably. I re-read ALL my FINE SCALE MODELERS and SCALE AUTO magazines at least four or five times then give them away. I make copies of articles I want to save and that goes for WORKBENCH REVIEWS too! In the march 2006 issue there is a review done of a Hunting Percival Pembroke C Mk 1. The reason for this post is, the mfgr. is listed as SPECIAL HOBBY. My first exposure to the Pembroke was a Vacuform kit back in 1978! This would,ve been my first Vacuform kit that was not something that floated! What I would like to know is two things. Is SPECIAL HOBBY still among the companies still around ? Two, does anyone know where in TEXAS I could find this injection molded version?? tankerbuilder

Yes, Special Hobby is very much alive and kicking.

I’m not sure, but I think the Pembroke kits have been out of production for a couple of years so may be difficult to find. There were two kits, one for an RAF machine and another to cover Belgian and German versions.
