Just wondering if anyone has tried the new humbrol weathering powder range. If so any comments over using ground up pastels or alternative products such as mig etc. Also I see on humbrol’s instructional videos they push using other humbrol products to apply the powders such as Matt cote and decal fix. Is this just a sales pitch or would not most varnishes fix the powders in place.
I am looking forward to the day one LHS that carries Humbrol products gets those powders so that I can try them out. Yes, in all likelihood the emphasis on Humbrol products is a sales pitch by them to use their stuff. Although I am a huge fan of their products, I would not recommend going out and buying up their stuff to use if you already have a favorite product of that particular type on hand.
