Getting the dreaded X. You have to post the photos to a server, not your computer for them to show up.

Ok. but it’ll have to later on cause it’s knocking off time now and I’m going home now.

Ahh… lucky man… just now getting off… in North Carolina, we just wentto work! [:o]
Looking forward to seeing your Huey, James!

Take care,
Frank

Changes have benn made hope you enjoy

There ya go, James!

Your cockpit & Flight Crew are looking GREAT, man! Keep up the nice work and progression shots… look forward to seeing it come together! Thanks!

Take care,
Frank

Looks great so far. Couple of points though. I hope you do not plan on leaving the gunner/pilot in the right front seat. I have never seen an M60 gunner up in the cockpit, I think it is a little too cramped for that. Also, may be the lighting, but the cockpit and cabin color look a little green to me. They should be a medium gray color.

Cool! Which kit is it?
Lee

I know about the m60 gunner. He is the co-pilot and he is going to have a 16 when I’m finished. It’s to tie in with my dio of “No one left behind”.
The kit is the academy 1/35 heavy hog, not sure of the code.

I will post more pics as and when I get them

James

Nice job !!!

The academy/mrc kit of uh-1c “heavy hog” have the ref 2199, and the frog the ref 2196.
It’s a fantastic kit, probably the best one at 1/35 scale. (I bought the both, not started unfortunately )
and Eduard produce three photoetched sets…perfects, as usual !!!

Good work James.

Can’t wait to see the finished diorama. Keep us posted!

I always thought that the co-pilot’s seat was on the left side in rotary wing aircraft. Am I wrong?

I’m taking this form my huey bible (CHICKENHAWK) that it was up to the individual which seat he sat in. I know most of the pilots move when the where deemed right side competent. But some were used to flying left seat and where a little superstitious about moving.

Any who…. It could change and be the pilot with the M16 and the co-pilot on the controls, nothing is set in stone with the model just yet.
