Does anyone know the exact grey that was applied to the interior of hueys by Bell?

I’ll check my Dash 20 when I get home tomorrow and see if there is a FSN number. I think the Model Masters Light Ghost Grey is really close.

Hey Snap together, any kind of grey would work with the interior if it were a daytime operation. IF the helo were used for night fighting, ie: night vision, then the majority of the interior panels would be black to cut down on the reflection of the grey paint; the bulkheads and floor would still be grey.

Sorry, I got out before the night vision googles were in “vogue”! I forgot about everything forward of the pilots seat got a coat of flat black! I think I have a picture of the cabin on a UH-1V from the late 90’s that shows were the black stopped and the gray started.
