Hueschrecke IVb finished at last

Hi guys, been a while, I did some work on this guy to get it out of my way. I kinda lost interest in the model so it got shelved for a while but now it’s finished at last. I mounted the model on a simple base and that’s about it. I’m sure I could have done more to it, but like I said there’s no interest.

Here are a couple of pics for you, hope you like how it turned out.

Thanks for looking and if you want to see more pics just go to the link to check them out.

Wow…how do you guys do it, makes my efforts look sick.

A beautifull job…Kenny

Not bad Rob and you didn’t even have to BBQ it.[:D]

You’ve sure got the magic my man.[Y]

Great work Rob. Looks awesome![:D]

Nate

Nate, Tony and Kenny thanks guys, nice to hear you like how it’s turned out. Tony it’s not BBQ but it was still fun trying different techniques on this one. The good thing is that I finally finished it and can move on to other projects.

Thanks again guys.

For no interest, this thing looks freaking cool. I love the whole prototype, early phase of being built look. Very cool.

THats exactly what I had imagined it would turn out like Rob. It’s been a true pleasure watching this oddball coming to life. It’s a very difficult subject to decide what way to finish. This is one of the more original I’ve seen so far.

Congrats.

Terry.

Nice work Rob [Y].

Regards, Rick

Like Terry, this one turned out exactly the way I envisioned it from your original intent/description Rob. I hear you about sometimes just needing to get one done and out of the way so you can move on to more inspiring projects but that certainly doesn’t take anything away from what you’ve achieved here. It looks just perfect to me; but then, don’t they always?

The only improvement I could possibly see would be a bit more attention to the scale thickness/detail of the headlight.

Rob, That is a stunning “production line” build you’ve presented! Absolutely stunning. I like the cable around the drive sprocket to feed the track on. Nice touch !!! Cheers Dave

I’m not much of an armor person…but that looks great.

One thing tho…the bottom road wheels that are reddish look off to me…like wrong type of red for rust. I’m not griping at all. This is by far better than I can do.

It looks great. I’ve never seen one of these before.
