I am an old guy with a grandson who wants to build some model airplane kits.
I built many WWII models in my youth.
I know nothing about the current model kit makers and am looking forward to gaining information from the members and sharing my experiences.

I’ve been building for 68 of my 74 years so you’re not alone. There are a lot of us “Older gentlemen” on here. My grandsons like to watch me build and ask lots of questions but don’t want to build. I keep trying though.

Welcome Paul!! That’s cool that you are getting your grandson involved. I am introducing my 9-year old son to the hobby as well and have him started on his first kit. Its the first thing he wants me to help him with when I come home from work. Much better than video games.
