I have this cool plane on my flighs simulator and I have been trying to find a large plastic kit of it, I have checked all over the internet to no avail. Does antone know where I can find a kit of this?
The Howard 500 was a post war civilian conversion of the Lockheed Ventura,it was the Learjet of its day .An excellant source of reference is the following book:THE LOCKHEED TWINS,by Peter J Marson, published by Air Britain.Photos and drawings of all the Ventura models, including the Howard conversions, expensive around$50 or more but well worth it if your into twin engine Lockheeds.I believe its still available. The only way to model it,is to convert a Ventura kit.In 1/72 you have Hasegawa,in 1/48 you have the Koster vacuform,or the F&M injected plastic, available from Sqd etc.Its a "LOT"of work but the results should be worth it.The book gives all the specs on these birds.Good Luck.
