How to weather with pastels??

any websites or links with a 101 on pastel weathering? i primarily do sci fi kits and armor! thanks!

Using pastels (chalks) I approach them as if were a set designer or makeup artist. Using the colors and a few brushes I start adding subtle touches to get the desired effect I want. Experiment, it can be rinsed off if you don’t get the look you’re after. Apply it in small amounts, be subtle, not gawdy.
