Hello, guys…
I’ve recently bought a pair of Mr. Mark Setter and Softer.
I tried to read the instructions on the bottle…but as you know everything is in Chinese.

So could you give me some instructions on how to use them? What exactly is their difference, which one is used first, how to apply e.t.c…
Thanks in advance…
Hi GlobeMast,
These are the instructions on the sides of my Micro Set/Sol bottles. They are probably almost the same in content and use as your Mr.Mark.
Microscale Micro Set
Softens decals and improves adhesion
Micro Set is PART ONE of the TWO step system.
1, Brush Micro Set on the model where the decal is to be applied, then dip decal in water and slide off backing paper into position on the model.
2. Carefully brush more Micro Set on top of the decal.
3. Wait a few minutes for the decal to soften, then press the decal down with a piece of moist paper towel. Repeat as necessary.
Microscale Micro Sol
Softens decals to conform to irregular surfaces for a “painted on” look.
Micro Sol is PART TWO of the TWO step system.
2. After doing STEP ONE (above). Using a soft brush, gently apply Micro Sol onto the decal, being careful not to MOVE the decal during application. (Do not touch the decal after applying Micro Sol, as the decal is now soft and can easily be distorted. Allow decal to dry completely.
3. On surfaces with many irregularities, additional applications may be necessary. Allow Micro Sol to dry between applications. If air bubbles become trapped under the decal, prick with a needle and apply some Micro Sol.
Hope this is of help to you
Regards
Mick C.
Thanks Viper for the instructions.
I would suggest that since you are unfamiliar with its properties and how each will react with a particular decal you try a spare decal first from the same sheet to see how it responds/destroys the decal.
I have not used either one, but I do believe Mr. Mark is alcohol based and you may get a nasty surprise if you are using it over a coat of Future with American made decals. Not saying you will or wont, but it would be best to set up a test and try first beforehand.
