How to seal... ?

Hi guys, how can I seal my rust to my tank, with out blowing it off? I don’t really want to seal it, but I’m afraid of any wind, moving etc. it will blow off.

if you are scard of it blowing off, then you have a problem. Way too much is is applied. First off, make sure that you use pigments or rust on a flat (not shiney) finish. Other wise, the gloss tends to eat it up. But for a seal, a dull coat is sufficient.

Do I have to seal it? If so, would hair spray work?

[:D] i think its better to seal it,you could try hairspray,but it might react with the paint,i would use dullcoat.[:D]

Would a coat of Future work, then a dullcoat?

use future before your decals, solveset after decalliing… after you weathering it with your pastels and rust, THEN apply the dullcoat…

id use dull coat. its the best sealent i know of
