How to Export my Model safely?

How do I pack my models for export. Or what is the safest way for my model to reach your country? By the way I live in the Phillipines.

I mean finished models. [;)]

Are you talking about an unbuilt kit or a completed model? If so, would you travel with the model or not?

Well since we don’t know if this is built or not…I’ll post this up anyway…

Came across it today doing some surfin on company time…

Hope that helps…

Fade to Black…

unbuild it, then ship it, then build it. JUST KIDDING! use lots of packing foam, styro chips, and remove stuff like props and pitot tubes and antentais

I had to ship an airplane, and took a different approach. I glued a couple pieces of styrofoam to a thick piece of cardboard (corrigated kind). Then I used heavy rubberbands to secure the wings of the plane to the styrofoam.

This left the plane securely help in place… sort of floating. I put this in a small box – securing the cardboard to the bottom of the box. Then put the small box in a larger box with “popcorn” packing material around it.

It was a bit complicated, but it worked out very well.

You sound like a logistics expert. Set up a camp, pack up and go, then set -up camp.[:D]
