Well,NOT ENOUGH ! This article saved my bacon again.I was trying to show someone how and why airbrushes do what they do. I was also trying to explain about moisture traps and all that.

I believe like you there should be more airbrushed articles. I have found out that the fine lines it almost other fancy things are done with the airbrush art due to the fact that she change nozzles and needles. I would like to see more demonstration on how these items are used so we can all benefit from it. I think there needs to be more articles on airbrushing I totally agree with you hope there is
Thats a really handy article. I have been useing a compressor with a regulator for a year or so now and still haven’t really got the hang of it. This will help a lot.
And i have just bought a gravity feed airbrush to take over the detail work from my bottom feed. I had never thought that i would need less pressure for the gravity feed. I am glad i read that.
Airbrushing is an art form all in itself. Many hobbies outside of model building use airbrushes, so there is much to learn! When I was in Portland I discovered that sometimes you have to step outside your normal hobby to learn something usefull. Who knew a “wargamer” could teach me so many tips about hand-painting details? Maybe FSM should consider having a “guest speaker” to talk about some airbrush techniques.
A frequent thread in the Painting and Airbrushing forum is, “what pressure should I set for my airbrush.” The article does a very nice job of discussing that.
I bet I haven’t put a half-pint of paint through my airbrush in the last ten years… Although, I’ve probably ised a couple gallons of thinner or alcohol CLEANING it…
A good article for FSM would be, “How to Use Rattle Cans Instead of Airbrushing One and Two-Color Camouflage Schemes”…
