How do I...

…Convert a 1:48 BF-109G-6 to a G-10 (I think -R1)? I’ve got the Fujimi kit, but I want to do a different variant. Also, has anyone built the kit? Is it accurate? Thanks for any help.

lots of work needs the refined AS cowl the taller wooden tail bulges under the nose extra air scoops on nose erla canopy extended tail wheel for early mark larger upper wing bulges for later mark exterior tail trims for later mark larger wheels etc etc get a revell 109g10 its accurate, cheap and some mouldings have recessed panel lines but the decal sheet is poor. if you want a late war 109 your g-6 would be easier to convert to a g-14 hope this helps

I’ve got a G-14 conversion kit, so I might do that…

Not to mention radio antenna and access panels, cockpit different, fuel tank fillers in different locations, and most every G-10 I have pics of has a K style wing. Converting a G-6 to a G-10 it not really something you want to do. there are alot of good G-10 kits out there. Like garyallum said If you wanted to you can make a early style G-14 or some G-6 kits also allow you the option to build an early or late G-6 (there are differences). Hasegawa has an excellent G-10 kit in 1/48 scale. It allows to build or easily modify many external options seen on available on a G-10.
