Hey there folks![:D]
I recently inherited a 1/32 Revell F-14A from a friend of mine and as I was going through it noting what I knew needed to be updated or changed I began to wonder if I would be able to use most of the update kits out there on the market. Those I found were mostly for the Tamiya kit and so I ask you, how close are the scales on these two kits and would most detail and update sets for the Tamiya kit work for the Revell?[:D]

Good question, I’m in the same boat. Last Time I built one of these (years ago), I used the Waldons F-14 cockpit placard set. It was an improvement but a resin set would be better if there’s one out there that would fit?
Scott,
Here is an article from ARC that Steve Filak wrote regarding this.
He used a Teknics tub and the kit’s seats. It has helped me somewhat.

Another that I found suggested the use of Eduard PE sets in addition to the Teknics tub. It was also on ARC and can be found in the articles section I believe. Sorry I can’t recall the guy’s name.
