Going off the top of my head, I’ve got in the neighborhood of 20 kits. I feel that’s a nice number to have. I don’t feel guilty about picking up another kit, and I’ve got options on what I can start on next depending on where my interest is at the time. That’s not counting all the accessory sets, weapons and figures that I’ve gathered, though, since I see those not as kits but as parts for many kits.
Well you see, mike, cars are vehicles with fixed landing gear, and no wings! would you believe it! The B-1 has been crawling along… some of those seams are just horrible!!
Hmmmm… I seee… short planes that don’t fly. With ya now…

I’ve got about 20 kits as well, but I’ve not bought a new one in almost a year. Most of the ones I have are gifts, so I’m set for quite a while.

Zero. Every kit I have is in production. Mind you I’m working on a P-38, Bf109, F4U Corsair, and one of those car thingies, namely a 69 'Cuda. I have limited space, so it is kept to a minimum.
My wish list is another matter…
Hmmm… looks to be about 40 kits. All but 3 are aircraft. The 3 others are “targets”…cars and trucks.

heheh i thought i was bad at 7 bring my highest…now im down to 4 and my birthday is coming up (sept 28 1985) meaning only one thing…$200 and a trip to my hobby shop! heheh can’t wait…and for some reason my girfriend doe’s not mind that i build them…just as long as i pay enough attention to her…as i do the models [:D]

So as a modeller with a stash, I’m quite restrained really. Mind you, I’ve only been back in the hobby for about a year, and at my desk for only about a week of that due to other commitments [:(]
I just got back into the hobby this past Jan. I had bought one kit and then pulled out another one I had sitting in storage for 8 years or so. I now have 6 in the stash and I think I have room for several more. I really should show my wife these posts so she won’t think I’m nuts to buy more!

I started back just wanting a Mossie for my shelf, so I bought a Tamiya FBVI… then I discovered resin & PE, and thought… Must have an A-10, and it snowballed from there. I must have spent hundreds on tools, and paint, and and…and… oh hell - you guys know the score! [;)]
I love these threads, they make me feel so… normal. I only have about a dozen or so, might be up to twenty including ones in progress. The only reason the stash isn’t larger is a lack of space which I hope to rectify soon with a quick home renovation.

I’ll have to show my fiancee these pics, so she realises that I’m quite a restrained modeller, rather than a modeller in restraints! [:D]
I will also show her the pics of Wolf’s desk, and tell her I desperately need more space. Put it this way, I have an A2 cutting mat that covers almost ALL of my available desk [:o]

My mother is always complaining that I have too mush kits, but when I saw BlackWolfs “kit-mountain”, I called my mum and showed it to her, and told her : "And you think I have to much kits???!!! "

I’m still in the more sensible end of the insanely large stash brigade! [:D] Result!
Like mikeiw, I’ve only been back into plastic for around a year now, and still working on my first one. But, like everyone else, with the exception of Bgrigg, I am accumulating a stash. A B-29, P-38J, B-2A, and an F-106. Now I need to buy a house on the 1:1 scale so I can expand. The one bedroom apartment just isn’t big enough anymore.[:)]
I Started the year with 11 kits and decided it was time to do more building than buying. Got through the first six months building w/out buying more - until last week. The Academy F4F-4 was a bargain I couldn’t pass up.
So now there’s only 5 in line, and 2 of them in process. The good thing is that I have been doing more building than in the past and I don’t have to be so creative in finding hiding places.
