To make it even simpler to understand- 1/48 scale IS 1/4"=1scale foot. Thus, a twelve inch ruler is the same as 48 scale feet!
And YES there is (was) a 1/32 scale B-29 Superfortress kit (vacuform!!), made by a company called I D M0odels, I believe they’re out of business now, and Combat Models has some of the molds.
