Don’t know if anyone knows about this but over on IPMS Deutschland Revell have released details of their forthcoming 2008 releases and Lufwaffe fans will be pleased [even shocked] no doubt to hear that we’ll be getting a Junkers 88 in 1/32! That should be one big bird!
hay phantomghost did they actually confirm that the big 88 was going to be released? I’ve heard rumors of such for close to a year now. IF they do I would be forced to build a 1/32 mistel. That would be one impressive model in 1/32 scale.
That would be great if true! I’m sure it would be cheaper than what Trumpeter would charge, will keep my fingers cross. I did hear that Revell/Germany is putting out a 1/144th Fletcher destroyer.

It would have a wing span of just over 22" (56cm) and a length of 17.4" (44.3cm) if my calculations are correct.
Judging by other forums like Largescaleplanes and the link barrovian’s provided it certainly seems to be confirmed and genuine. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day they do a Mistel too. Plus many other variants.
That would be one large model…just over 22" in wingspan and 17 1/2" long…
Looks like Revell AG have it scheduled for release in October '08…I probably wouldn’t buy one, but I’d certainly like to see one.
It’ll look good next to my big 1/72 Blohm and Voss Wiking!
