Hoses

None of my 1:24 trucks have hydraulic hose couplings for the trailer. I have always felt that they left the models undressed. They are red, yellow & blue here in the UK (is that standard in other countries?).
Has anyone tackled this problem and if so would you like to share your solutions.

Not sure who the maker of your model is, the few kits that I build had coloured wires in them to make them.
You still had to twist them round a pencil or similar to get the coiling effect.

Try your local electronics store they should have the wires you need to do that.

I think the color coding is standard.

Try some of the wire in home phone lines, like the phone cord from the wall to the phone.

spalding trading and shipping sell those hoses.

looking for other items for a wrecker I found nylon coiled tube .106 I.D. .156 O.D. IN colors at McMaster-Carr.com.

The Italeri No. 720 pack, Truck Accessories, comes with a set of thin wires in yellow, red, blue, and green. Also, there are two connector stays for the tractor side and the trailer side. This pack is recommended as there are many other accessories for European and American trucks.
