I like the weird ones.
A little fiddly, but the fit is great and it practically snaps into place when you get it right.
The only chanllenge I’ve had was the pieces that attach to the sides of the seat and the pedal assembly. These pieces required the “helping-hands” to get them all lined up.
I’m not likely to paint much of this, but it’s been fun to build so far.
WOW! That’s a lot of fine detail in those engines.
One of my favorite planes, ever since I played Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe on PC in the late ‘80s or early ‘90s. I have a 1/72 in the stash, but might pick this one up as I love all the interior details. I probably wouldn’t even put the skin on one half of it.
To be clear, I don’t mean like a snap-kit. I mean the pegs fall into the holes or tabs into slots.
Like when you have “snap to grid” on in graphics application.
I never played the game, but I also love this plane. If you get a chance I highly recommend going to the Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian. They have a 229 as well as some of the earlier Horten gliders.
I have an ancient, unidentified 1/72 resin kit of this that I tinker with from time to time. I want to get the Zouki-Moura 1:144/1:72 combo.

Looks much less complex than the ZM offering, and cheaper too.
I love this plane , I have built this in the dragon 1/48 kit. But 1/32 will mean lots more details.
I need to take some more pics, but I fear it would only show off my poor building skills.
I found this kit to be very fiddly. I’m sure in better hands all the pieces would have aligned better, but when it came time to get the skin on, I have to use brute force and maybe even remove some internal structure. 
And then the wings. Let’s just say I am going to be doing some sanding and putty to make it look like I got them to fit properly.
I don’t really fault the kit at all. Overall I have loved building it.
