Hornisse Paint Scheme

I am going to build my first armor kit (DML Sd.Kfz.164 Hornisse.) The paint scheme suggest Gunzes paints (H37Wood brown, H66 RLM Sandy Brown, H80 Khaki Green) All I have are Tamiyas and MM acrylics.

  1. Do I need to use these colors listed above?

  2. What other paints could I use for this type of armor that would be realisitic color scheme (Tamiya)?

Hi Ernie. I use Tamiya all the time. Dark Yellow XF-60, Dark Green XF-61 and Red Brown XF-64. You could also use mettalic grey XF-56 for the tracks.
