Holding Indy tracks in place

Hi [:)],

I have a set of the metal Fruimodel Indy tracks for my Panzer IV…just wondering hold you guys hold the pins in place (to keep them from sliding out)…I was thinking of some super glue, then I thought the paint may be enough to hold them…is there a better way???..

Btw what is the best way to paint them…enamel or acylic…Should they be primed too???

Yep you will need to use a small amount of CA glue at the end it hold the wire in.

Becuase Fruil tracks are white metal I will always prime them before painting. You could use either enamel or arylic paints. I will at times use Railroad weatheirng solution and sand at the high points to simulate wear.

If you go to Wal Mart you can go to the sewing/crafts section and buy straight pins that are just the right diameter for assembling the Fruils. These pins provide a perfect interference fit and don’t require CA! Check the Panther in my sig. I chose not to clip the pinheads, but, you can if you want. Plus, these little wonders speed up construction and save a whole lot of time. They are also easy to disassemble for test fitting etc.

Thanks for that heads up Crocket. By any chance, is there a diameter size on those striaght pins on the box, etc.?
