I have found and purchased an 2" (yes two inch) Hold N Fold at my lhs. For you guys like me who us pe almost exclusivily in the pit, such and throttle quadrants and little stuff this thing is the best. Its small size really suits it for those small details
I’ve got a 4" on order with GreatModels right now. I thought that one would work best for me, but I was debating whether or not to go with the 2" version.

there it is with a standard size Tamiya paint for reference
Looks great. Just a couple of questions? Who makes it? And most important - what did it cost? Got to have that before I go forth to do battle with the Chanceller of the Exchequer.
Jeff I bought the 4" vesrion last month. Not cheap, but considering the amount of PE I’ve screwed up in the past trying to bend it with craft knives and pliers, I’m sure it will pay for itself in the long run.
The 2" sure looks cute.

Woodbeck, take a look at the European site : http://www.thesmallshopeu.com as they have modified the model you own, maybe it’s more complete in terms of use and I believe yours can be retrofitted if and when you feel it necessary. I saw the Etchmate and I own a Norwegian product but I never touched this one so I don’t know further.
I just got the four-inch model. One of my better investments.
Wow forgot I put this here
Still looking at it Dave Voss???
It has been the best detailing tool investment I have and I wonder how I been doing PE cockpit details without it
Yeah its cute aint it :).
Q… Its made buy smallshop and cost me $30 and small change at my LHS… money well spent.
Torio thansk for tell me that… I need more info as to what you mean by upgrading it and where can I find the info you are tlaking about? You intersted me in what you said.
I second this sentiment. When I bought mine, it was the smallest one they made. Then I saw the 2", at first impulse, I think it would be a real handy device, but then if I think about the many times I’ve used my 4", I’m glad I’ve got the slightly larger one. Every once in a while I get to bending the side skirts of a tank kit and am glad I have one long enough to deal with the size.
