Here is the Hobbycraft Abrams in OIF with the mine plow. I built this for the M1 Group build and never got the decals and flat coat on. Now it is finished. I am very happy with this kit. Compared to the Hobbycraft Hummer I built, this is a MUCH better kit. The kit included all kinds of goodies, pics are of the model built out of the box. The kit included a APU but I didnt build it for this model. The decals were excellent. Once I hit it with future and put on the decals, they dissappeared with the flat coat! I highly recommend this kit. I think there was a thread comparing all the M1 kits out there. This kit is “good-enough” in my opinion.
Great build!!!
Very good job on the weathering!!
One question if i may?
Where is the APU?
Might of slipped ya mind! Happens to me from time to time…
Keep up the good work
Robert
Nice work , the mineplow makes your M1A1 , look even more aggressive ! I have crewed commanded Leopard C1’s with dozer blades , mine rollers , and plows . So I always had a liking for tanks sporting this kind of gear .

“PERSEVERANCE”
Your tank looks great. The paint job is done very well. I can’t wait to get working on my shelf-full.
FYI: I noticed you have a picture of the barrel. A couple nights ago I assembled five barrels of the six Abrams kits I have to get an idea of what each kits detail is like. (Not for accuracy but for detail). And I think the HC barrel has the softest detail of the five. The Italeri barrel is by far the shortest. The Tamiya barrel and Academy barrels are almost clones of each other. The muffler(?), or whatever that bulge in the middle is called, on the Dragon barrel is the smallest of the five.
I can’t comment on the rest of the kits since I have not gotten that far yet.
