Anybody have any info regarding these aftermarket tracks? I’ve seen them at Luckymodel for the Sturer Emil, King Tiger Late, Elephant, etc. They’re pretty inexpensive and just wondering if they are worth it or not. Is there a lot of clean up required, fit issues, etc. Any help appreciated.
I have the sturer Emil set and the Late Kingtiger set. Both are nice and have no pinmarks, minimal flash, and just 2 attachment points to be trimmed. The friction fit isn’t great, requiring you to glue the, before forming, but other than that, I’d recommend them.
I have a set for my Tamiya 251 haltrack. They look good. I got them after I read a review:

I don’t know about the fit or quality of the other sets but they are cheap enough on ebay to find out without regret.
Thanks for the info , saved me from any uneccesary headaches and wasted money.
I have a set for the Cromwell and although I haven’t built them yet, they look decent enough on the sprues. I didn’t know anything about them either when I bought them, but for $5 USD from Lucky Model I figured I couldn’t go very wrong.
I also believe that these tracks were known by the brand name Link Model. I have the set for the French H35/39 and Cromwell/Centaur. Very nice tracks, similar to Modelkasten.
Putting a set of 251’s together now.
Can’t be beat for the price.
