I have been slowly trying to build up the AM stash for my eventual HobbyBoss M4 HST build, and I see that the only individual link tracks for the T-49 steel cleat are the ones available from ModelKasten (SK-44).
My question is, if there’s anyone who has this, are there enough links in the ModelKasten set to use for the HobbyBoss kit?
Do you know of any other alternatives besides the MK tracks?
I will find some time to start digging around to see how many links were used on a Sherman, and how many on an HST, so hopefully if one is close to the other, we’ve got a winner [:)]
I posted this on another forum already. I steer clear of MK tracks for Sherman variants due to their complex assembly. Use Panda instead. Much easier!!!
Thanks very much for the suggestion. I have not yet had the opportunity to use MK tracks for any Sherman builds, but looking at the SK-44 set, I was looking at a ludicrous amount of time to assemble them. I’ve gone ahead and ordered the set provided in your link. With shipping, its cheaper than a set of the MKs I was looking at.
