hobbyboss 1/48 F-111

hi

has anyone seen/purchased/started to build or built the hobbyboss 1/48 F-111? i would like to build a vark in the near future but after reading reviews on this kit im not sure, i’ve read there are shape issues with some areas including the canopy, how serious are these issues? is it still a decent representation of a vark? im not a rivet counter but if the issues are pretty bad then i’ll pass on it

I haven’t seen any reviews or the kit itself, but that price tag is a HUGE issue!!! I lost interest real quick!!!

i have heard it retailing for over $100 in the u.s but here in the uk its equivalent to $67, still not cheap but not all that bad

I also want to build one, but at over $100.00 I might build the Academy kit and be happy if I can find the right decals.
