Hobby Lobby is having a two day Thanksgiving sale Friday & Saturday, Nov 25 and 26. They are offering all plastic kits at 50% off and any one item at 40% off. I guess I will have to stop by my local HL on the way to work Friday morning.

My wife and I went at 8 AM. There wasn’t much to select from but I did pick up the Academy 1/32 scale F-16CG/CJ for half price. Added to what the wife bought, the total bill came out to a little less than the full price of the model kit.
ACK! NO DINERO!!!
I am fighting the urge to go… need to conserve some cash for the Christmas holiday but I saw the Tamiya Do335 Anteater - two seater trainer last time I as there and it looks like a different of enough build for me to like it…

I went to Hobby Lobby this morning and left with a 1/48 Revell F/A-18E, 1/144 Minicraft B-29 and 1/44 Minicraft C-121 MATS Connie. Now all I have to do is find time to build them, along with a bunch of others already in line in front of them.

I broke down and went was not busy at all I got
Tamiya F4F-4 Wildcat,Trumpeter F-107A and a Monogram Cobra Helicopter. Not bad for under $40
So I finally got my 1/48 Revell Super Bug, 1/48 M1A2 Abrams I have been looking for a long time, and a Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban for a future Police vehicle. $26.00 in all.
I got a Tamiya 1/48 F4F-4 and the Trumpeter 1/350 USS Arizona. Both cost me what one would’ve.
I picked up a copy of Academy’s 1/35 AH-1W Super Cobra.
