I just got my kit yesterday and was astounded by the number of parts inside the box. Upon examining the instruction sheet and the the sprues, it turned out that many of the aftermarket parts to detail the Tamiya Corsairs were included like the gun bay with a highly detailed set of machineguns and ammo belts. The PR2800 powerplant and the cockpit set only seen in resin AMs. Can’t wait to start this bird!
so does it also have seperate control surfaces? Those would definitely be handy in a carrier deck diorama and are the canopy and windscreen parts better than the Tamiya kit?
Any chance you will WIP that bad boy? I’m working on a HB A-10 and have an A-7 I just picked up, but I’ve not seen any of their WW2 stuff. The Tamiya Corsairs are amazing. Would love to see how this one compares.
I might but with the number of parts it will probably take a longer time. Mikeym_us, the canopy looks good but the fit remains to be seen.
