HMS Hood

As you can see we have built the base on 1" foam board. Using polly filler to create a stormy sea, we then airbrushed in dark blue Vallejo paint to create depth and reflective green above finished with dry brushed white.

Any comments would be welcomed.

Have a look here. http://members.shaw.ca/neh/news.htm

Outstanding work! She looks great on those stormy seas. Can’t wait to see more.

Oh my… HMS Hood… The first ship I built. Tamiya Scale 1/700.

Anyway, nice Diorama! The ocean’s rough!

Anyone heard any more rumours as to when or if the ICM 1/350 Hood might appear?

Hood is looking good! the sea looks great too…one heck of a job pug

Wow, looks very cool and realistic. I can only hope that mine looks that good when I’m finished with it.

There will be no ICM Hood. Expect one from Trumpeter.

Jeff

Certainly DO!
1/350 scale, & Tamiya quality mouldings only please.

Well! I need something to go with my Bismarck, KGV & POW!
A nice 1/350 Tribal Class Destroyer would be much appreciated too, along with a 1/350 Ark Royal, not to mention a County Class cruiser, and maybe even a Prinz Eugen!

Dave

How about a famous ship like the Warspite.

two months ago i’ve send an e-mail to ICM, asking bout 1:350 Hood and Takao, two days ago i received their answer:

Thanks for the interest to our production and we inform, that this
kits will be released in the future.

Best regards,

“ICM Holding”

But Like Jeff says… I believe in a Trumpeter Hms Hood too, lets see what happens.
I just hope to see one soon.

Well I e-mailed Trumpeter about Hood:

Good day,

Yes, we will release it soon. Please be patient!

Best regards
Jackson Xiao

Subject: HMS Hood 1/350

Good day,

Just wondered if your company had any plans to make a mass produced
HMS Hood in 1/350 scale. This is one ship in that scale that is
seriously missing.

Many thanks,
