Hmmm, did I miss a ... spot?

She is getting close to complete. The decals have been sealed and the camo pattern has been applied by brush. This took most of an evening to accomplish but turned out pretty good.

All of this has been sealed again with Future and is heading for the weathering and panel line stage next. And while those decals looked delicate on the paper they are some tough mothers and needed several coats of Mr. Marker Soft to settle down properly.

DJmodels1999 - Yes, the propellers are already glued on.

Glen S - One coat of Future before the decals and two coats after. Next is weathering and panel lines then a coat of Polly Scale Clear Flat.

Reggiethedorf - This is an old 1970s era 1/48 kit. At the time it was billed as the cadillac of the aircraft modeling world.

Doesn’t the propellers make your life more difficult when it comes to weathering and above all airbrushing a flat coat?

DJmodels1999 - Having the props on does not seem to be creating a problem for me at all. When everything is said and done I’ll brush a little Future on the blades to shine them up.

GrenadierII - All free hand with the box art, some internet pictures and the kit paint schematics all laid out in front of me for reference. Really was not that difficult, I was surprised. I had kind of thought that I was going to regret attemping this but am quite happy with the results.
