His and Her Artillery (Pics!!)

Chris,
sounds like she will have a shorter learning curve than some of us.
perhaps it is your stellar example?

ed.

Darned women and their fine motor skills![;)] Both look great! I wonder if my wife would like a Stuart for Chirstmas… or even before!

Ron.

Nice work, both of you.[8D] Showed my wife the pics; all she could say was “Why is Hers bigger than His?”[:p][:p]

If you use propellant, maybe one of those adapters for a car tyre might be a handy “back up” when you run out of cans. Then all you two will need to worry about is who is going to pump the spare back up.[:D]

Seriously though, I recently bought an “El Cheapo” 2.4 HP compressor from my hardware store for AUD $99 (about USD$66) which is about 1/4 of the price of dedicated Modelling Compressor here in Australia. It came with a regulator and a water trap, which necessary here in Humid Queensland. My Aztec 4709 fit without any problems and it works great. Maybe you can find something similar over there.

Yeah, it is noisier than my old, dearly departed modelling compressor, but hey, you only need to fill it once per session[:D]. Seeing as you both build, the Mrs probably won’t complain of the noise anyway.

Looking forward to Round 2

Happy Modelling
Peter

Yea Peter my wife wife made the same comment, women and thier hang up on size!
I found a 2.5 gal compressor at home depot for about the same price. Going to get it as soon as I have the spare cash, or at least that which an be safely diverted. Probally be useing it alot seeing how I have the winter to sit at home with nothing else to do.

LQ2.
Wives with same opinion: You know what they say
“Great minds think alike, but fools seldom differ”.
Ouch, I felt Mrs LQ2’s slap on the back of my head way over here[:D]

Why don’t you two do like the ducks and migrate each winter. Then again, hibernating in the home like a bear, cuddling up to Mrs LQ over the modelling table is probably a waaayyyy better idea[:p].

Have fun you two

Happy Modelling
Peter
