Any one have any knowledge with regards to a kit for the World War II destroyer HIJMS Shimakaze in a size larger than the waterline 1/700 series?
There’s nothing available at present, in fact, there’s only two IJN DD types available in other scales…
In 1/350 you have the Blue Water Navy Kagero and Akizuki, and in 1/200 from Nichimo you have the same offerings.
Out of production, but soon to be available, Classic Warships has a 1942 Kagero and a 1945 Yukikaze ('45 fit Kagero Class)
I can’t vouch for what’s available in card models though, there could be something.
