Hello all. I’m a 16-year-old from Washington State. I have an enormous interest in fine scale modeling. The models I usually build are 1/48 aircraft (WWII) and 1/72 armor (WWI WWII). My last model was a 1/72 WWI MkIV “male”, by Emhar.

Thanks for all the welcomes. And its sad thing that there is only a few people around my age that appreciate fine scale modeling now. I started building my first models since I was five. None of my friends were interested in fine scale modeling then or now. Hopefully after high school I’ll meet more people drawn into in fine scale modeling. That’s a few years away though. Lol

I’m more or less the same… i started building when i was around 5, and none of my friends care about what i do… they just roll their eyes and whisper under their collective breaths “It’s one of his nerdy things…”! [:p] there are several of us “young-uns” here… so don’t worry about age… what matters is that you like building models! If any of us “old guys” can help with your projects, feel free to ask. My eyes don’t work well enough anymore for “Braille scale” (shoot… they never worked all that well anyway), but armor is armor, right?
