My name is James and i am from midleton Ireland, said i would say hi and post some pics. Been into modelling for some years on and off but this is the latest 2 year buzz.
This is why I never build ship models. Mine will never look as good as yours! LOL! Welcome to the forum!
Actually, my two daughters became enamoured with the Titanic back in 2012 when it was the 100th anniversary of their sinking. As a result, I broke away from my usual aircraft modeling to build Revell’s Titanic model for them. The last time I built that same Titanic model was back in 1983 or 1984 when I was 13 or 14. That one ended up falling victim to fireworks. LOL!
Again, welcome to the forum!

Welcome aboard. Some stunning looking ships there.
James, first welcome to the forums, second…WOW! Those are some great ships! Thanks for posting the pics and great work! I have the Titanic (for my wife you know!) and I hope mine look half as good as yours!
Again, welcome!

Great looking ships, James. Exquisite work on all of them. I sometimes do ships–but not with all those sails and fancy rigging. Your work is great!
And. . .welcome to the Forum. I look forward to more photos of your work.
Hi All,
Thank you for your kind comments. Glad you like the ever growing collection. I will be doing reviews on some because most are great kits and gives you a feel on how i work. I have heard alot of people avoiding ships like the plague but they are the reason why i model. They are beautiful. I especially love the research that goes into them which means all my models have scratch building of some sort behind them. All my models are hand painted, dont be shocked, i am an artist as well so would be silly not to.

A most hearty Welcome to the forums.
Impressive list of builds but you will find, unlike my self, “the others” will clammer like baby birds, for pictures.
I, of course, am not so crass, I understand the artistic temperament.
Thanks Steve, your about the only one who does understand im afraid which puts you ahead.
Here is a little taster for you. My Queen Mary log, please see link

Ships! I just recently tried a few and found them to be quite challenging…and fun builds. Welcome. I am new as well and have already benefited from this excellent site.
Hi Rob,
Nice to hear that, what have you built, they are challenging but the satisfaction is paramount on completion, especially if you have a rare one. Thanks for the welcome
welcome to the forum

Outstanding work! [:D[ [t$t] I’ve built a few ships(not that well), but don’t have too much room left for many more.
