Hi folks!
Glad to be a member here.
Plastic Modeling is not a common hobby in Singapore.
It’s rare as a Jedi these days.
So it’s a great feeling to meet one’s own kind here!
Anyway, I used to do plastic kits when I was a kid…
mainly : WW2 fighters, Modern US jets, WW2 ships.
But I used the paint brush and the results were still
yucky. Now I am starting a new phase in this hobby
with a newly bought airbrush+compressor.
I think I’m gonna have fun meeting new friends here
,with modeling and learning new techniques.
Thanks!
Welcome to FSM HANG. It’s great to have you come and join us here. Good luck in learning your new airbrush. I’m sure you will enjoy the results.
Hi ya Jason …
Welcome to the FSM Community Plastic Modeling Forum(s) … just the place for a fellow starting to learn the ins and outs of his new airbrush. [;)]
Spend some time here and I am sure you will find that we are a very friendly and diverse group of scale modelers from all points of the compass. [8D]
Again, welcome and have fun!!! [:D]
Hey there Hang,
At last - someone who’s nearly in my time zone…Welcome aboard!!
If you have ANY questions, just post it, and there’s whole bunches of folks around here who can give you about 30 different answers for a single problem. It’s well worth the time to look around the forum.
Good luck with the new airbrush - remember that practice and experimentation are excellent teachers. There’s also several really helpful books on airbrushing that you can get - I think Kalmbach publishing produces several. They are a great help.
Cheers,
LeeTree
