My name is Dave and I’m back into the hobby after a 30 layoff. I started on the models again because of my job situation…I’ve spent the last 4 years working away from my home and family. Modeling certainly helps pass the time while I’m stuck away from my wife and kids (keeps me out of trouble too! ). I prefer WW2 American aircraft for my subjects, although I’ve done a couple early airliners and a few modern jets as well.

Sorry about that. 30 year layoff. Seems somewhat common around here.
The layoffs? They are… while mine wasn’t 30 years (heck I’m not even 30 years old yet…) I had a few years away from the hobby. Everyone gets hit by circumstances that keep us away for a while. But you’re among friends now. Welcome.
