Well, a company in England has released a conversion kit for this exact plane!!!
All I needed was the rear canopy for my kit-based one, but what the hell, I bought the Hasegawa kit and the conversion kit and made a new one.
The guys at Brigade were kind enough to send me a spare canopy for my earlier effort…which was nice. So now I can do the all-silver finish ( for the NMF GB) and the grey-green one too!!
I thought you’d be interested in seeing these.
( I did the NMF one as 162, which is currently flying as ML 407, the Grace Spitfire.)
The conversion isn’t too bad, some work needs to be done on the underneath where the two kits join and hte plastic is soft. But it looks really sweet!
