Hetzer Late - WIP

[:)] Hello friends!

I will start a Hetzer Late of Academy, 1/35. This time the Construction will be “Straight of Box”. No add-ons because it have received positive comments in some Reviews that the kit is excellent in all aspects, fine!.

Rodolfo

[:)] Hello friends!

Excellent precision in the fixing and very good detail! The spare tracks of the rear will be put after of painting.

Rodolfo

Looks like a nice clean build so far. I have this in the old stash so will be keeping an eye on your build

Phil

Looking good so far Rodolfo, I’m sure it’s in capable hands!

[:)] Thanks friends!

More updates:

Ready the wheels and part of the Hull. The tracks are curved so they can give the heavy weight effect when installed.

Rodolfo

This should be a fun WIP. I enjoyed your Tiger so much , that this could be an encore.

This one’s comging together pretty fast, but then the Hetzer doesn’t exactly have a lot of parts to it so that shouldn’t be surprising. Looking good, always have a soft spot for the 38t family. [:)]

[:)] Thanks friends! . Yeah!, this is a “express” build, but funny!

More updates:

The tracks are ready without problems, great!!.

Regards!
Rodolfo

tracks look great !

Interesting sag on the tracks. I’d think that the forward part should sag as well. Looks more like an Marder H version.

Some great progress. This looks like a nice kit.

[:)] Thanks friends! . Yeah!, the tracks are excellent!

More updates:

Armor ready for paint!. The only problem were the upper hatches which I arranged by filling the hollows with the method of “blended plastic” using glue. I also show by separated the parts that will be painted before they are assembled wich will also include the machine gun.

Regards!
Rodolfo

[:P] Hello friends!

Finally was added a tow cable and chains of Greif (Mexican) and I made a little hole for adding after of painting. The cable (?) of the kit is a simple thread!.

Rodolfo

This one’s going to be done in record time Rodolfo, looking good! [Y]

[:)] Thanks friend!

More updates:

I applied a coat of Surface Primer of Vallejo, excellent for a best applying of the painting.

Regards!
Rodolfo

Nice progress Rodolfo.

Hi Rodolfo, nifty looking build. Looking forward to the paint scheme to really bring this Hetzer to life.

[:)] Thanks friends!

I decided to paint it as Eastern Front version. This because some factory yellow hetzers were school trainers and were rushed to the Eastern Front and received a white wash.

Regards!
Rodolfo

Sounds like a good plan Rodolfo, looking forward to seeing the results!

Rodolfo, that’s going to be a fine looking model when it’s been painted and weathered…I think I’d replace the towing cable with something that doesn’t look like thread. Look at real wire rope and see the difference. You can use real wire (anneal it with heat first), or even larger sized nylon twine.
