Here is the cute little guy. [:D] I replace all the grab handles with wire ones, the tamiya ones were little raised blocks. I added a better periscope protector from straight brass stock bent to shape. On my next one i will replace the kit supplied half moon periscope covers with brasss tock also. I painted it tamiya dark yellow, followed by a slightly lightened dark green, then a shot of tamiya red-brown. I then shot the tracks with Kacki Drab, and also coated the lower hul;l with this carrying it up to the lower parts of the upper hull. Next time i build this i will also make each of the side skirts out of plastic stock, and replace the barrel and add a headlight wire. I will start the suspension tommorrow, i will let you all know how that goes. This is a great model to try your hand at some super detailing or scratch building. Its such a simple little guy.
Enjoy and critique, i am trying to get better. Bill
Um sorry I never got to finish my first post I moved the mouse befor I could end it. He he [:D]. Anyway like I said up above I wasnt a huge fan of it but now after seeing a bunch made, its really growing on me and now I want one. Again great work so far and good luck.
I based the camo fairly closly froma book, panzers on the easter front, vol 2, the tide turns. So far i am completly happy with this little guy. No PE included, however everything is ther to self produce a nice little model. I will replace the side skitst with probally .05 sheet stock next time.

I have the Dragon 1:35 Hetzer I’ve been itching to get at.
This is just making it worse.
It looks like you’re off to a good start. I look forward to your future progress on this.
BTW, Osprey has a great book out, building the hetzer. I have an early hetzer from dragon that has a full interior, the works. However i was considering redoing it due to mistakes i had made. Can’t get it right the first time. I started writing things in a little book, about each kit. What i did right, what i did wrong, what worked, what didn’t.
