I am interested in purchasing a Hetzer kit in 1/35 scale and I understand DML has a kit- does anyone reccomend this kit? thanks
From what I know, the DML kit is the only one in 1/35th. I also know that Tamiya just released one in 1/48th.
Italeri did one in 1/35 scale. It gets released every so often, and is one of their better kits from the 70s. The DML kit is superior though.
Eduard is supposedly releasing kits of and early and late Hetzer around August, or so their website says. These kits are to have full interiors if I remember right, with a metal gun barrel and after-market tracks (do I remember seeing the name ModelKasten?) and of course Eduard PE frets as well! Something to look forward too!

I just picked up the re-released Hetzer command variant by DML the other day from Squadron. Looks like a pretty good kit.
The DML kit is awesome. I was glad to see them rerelease it as I had to go to ebay to get mine .There are always others on ebay, I just got the Italeri kit there and there is a DML flampanzer version and an early also. I’d bid but I’ve spent too much already. The DML kit is flawless and I can’t wait for the Eduard realease. I love these little bugger’s.

The Eduard release is to have an interior and other goods. Based on their other releases, it will be the most expensive on the market.

If the price is right, get it! I didn’t really need the Tamiya Jagdpanther, but the price was in the cards, so I got it. Ebay is sucking me in…[:-^]
i would not say the DML is flawless. Replacing those molded on hooks was a pain…
I’d surmise that the reason a lot of DML Hetzers are popping up on eBay is an attempt to make room for the new Eduard one. Until an expert pans it.
Must be a different kit, mine didn’t have any molded on hooks.
the command version is cool and withsome p/e chucked in…the early flammpanzer kit 6037 u can make two versions of the mid prodution…i love these little tanks or baiters…hetzer meaning in german regards jazz
I built the DML version a few years back, it is a really good kit. Add the Eduard PE and you got a really good project!
