I finally got around to doing some more paint work on my F-4U1-D Corsair. For those of you who don’t remember (including me lol) this is Tamiya’s 1/48th kit that I bought two years ago at one of hobby lobby’s half off sales. I started it last winter. I got all sorts of stuff done, including the base coat of sea blue. It looked too dark, so I sat it in it’s box on the bench, and it’s been staring at me ever since. So, when I saw Pix’s beautiful Corsair for the Soccer War customer, I was inspired. I ran out and bought some white MM paint so I could make my MM Sea Blue lighter. Then I waited a few months. Well now I finally got around to actually painting. I didn’t do it as scientific as Pix, but I like the look of it. Enjoy, and feel free to critique!!

Your Corsair looks great, but I think the last pic shows your best work of the night. And I’m just guessing but I bet that pan of brownies doesn’t stare at you for very long.
