Here's some M1A1 AIM pic's ,enjoy!!!

This is my dragon m1a1 kit finally finished.Hope you enjoy them, as much as I did building it…

i see the rear shot was too close sorry… special thanks to CDNTANKER25 who helped me get these here. thanks again

glad I could help you man! Welcome to the forums!!! Good to see your build! It’s a great kit, I’m starting on my third! Your’s looks pretty good! I don’t know how long you’ve been modelling or if this is your first one or what that deal is… but here’s some observations for ya! If you’re using powder pigments, I’d recommend doing a wash with them in the wheels, it’ll kind of show a collection of dirt in the wheels a little easier. Weathering should be done lighter in stages as you go up the tank! The left side on the rear shot looks like it’s leaning… maybe you’re going to be putting it on a base? Not sure about that. The suspension on that kit is pretty tricky! Looks pretty good man, I think you did alright! Thanks for posting them, it’s been a pleasure to look at! Again these are just suggestions on how I personally see it and do it, I’m sure you’ll get a few differing views on this build  Can’t wait to see more!

One other note on the photography, if it’ll help, get a blue or white or grey bristol board backing from staples or walmart or wherever, costs about 2 bucks… use that as a back drop, might help you make taking pictures a little easier too!

Thanks for the tips…it does lean…huh… well I didn’t notice that oh well! This was my second time of doing a NATO scheme, my hummvee was first, but a lot less fun!I couldn’t live with myself if I shot it desert tan…being from N.Y. and all.I wasn’t real happy with the pastels, they did turn out light. thanks for the kind remarks though. pic’s of MY chally will be up when i get some batt.s for camera, they died after I shot this one.[D)]

Hi Jeff, Welcome to the site. I like your build. There’s nothing better than a dusty tank, especially an Abrams in NATO camo scheme. I like that pic of the rear I just wish it was better focused. All in all a very nice build for your first time. Looking forward to your Challenger and take the advice of CDN to get a blue or white background. It will definitely help the photography of your models. Good luck!

Looks pretty good. Agree with CDNTanker on the weathering though. Make sure you weather the areas behind/between the roadwheels and skirts too. They can be easily seen and look clean on your model, while the skirts and track are dirty. The right track looks loose above the sprocket too. It should lay flat as it goes behind the skirt. Good job overall. The Dragon AIM is a great kit.

Looks good! Other than what was already said, it looks great! I got one of thos in my stash that I’ll get to sooner or later lol…

JEFFB,

[#ditto] to what the others said. Nice job. [tup]. Also, [#welcome]

Good job, seems appropriately dusty too. Welcome and nice of you share your work.
