This is the Impala SS that should have been.

I like big fast cars and the Impala SS was my favorite. The police 9C1 Caprice was the same car sans leather interior. That has always been my favorite work ride.

I always felt Chevrolet should have continued with the theme, so I did this.

I added the LS1 engine, 6 speed tranny, front buckets and back seat from a Polar Lights GTO.

What technique/paint did you use to make that radiator look so real?

All the black areas are just Tamiya semi-gloss black. The coolant tank is plain old Vallejo flat white washed with yellow ochre oil.
